Biotube 1000 has a tubular shape with internal fins and large openings, offering a huge surface area of 1000m²/m³ and high voidage of 80%.
Biotube 1000 is a high performance biomedia for MBBR, IFAS and RAS applications. The innovative design makes it our highest surface area filter media, offering not only a huge protected surface area but without compensating high voidage. Biotube offers a high voidage of 80% and allows treatment works to achieve high biofilm attachment without restricting flow or risking clogging.
Biotube is part of our media range made from recycled polypropylene (PP), it is durable, lightweight, inert and non-toxic to the beneficial bacteria required for biological treatment processes.
