Filter media
Biomarble 310
Biomarble 310 is made from recycled polypropylene with internal fins and large openings, offering a surface area of 310m²/m³ and high voidage of 90%.
Biomarble 310 offers higher surface area than Biofil 135 / Bioball 220 but maintains high voidage (90%) with the large openings throughout the structure. Similar to Biofil and Bioball, Biomarble 310 offers an excellent alternative to traditional mineral-based media and is ideal for improved performance in new wastewater treatment plants (especially submerged aerated filter (SAF) treatment processes).
The media is performs exceptionally for odour scrubbing applications; the high surface area gives optimum air to wet surface contact time to help eliminate odour issues and the high voidage means a low pressure drop on the gas side, minimising fan power helping contribute to environmental and sustainability targets.
